Is it is or is it ain't?

I think this is a Skd 213 and I am fairly certain it is at Nordagutu. I am open to correction.

The magic roundabout

A bit of Oslo magic. Instead of a central island this roundabout has a pond complete with fountains. To add to the fun some of the fountains are between the tram lines. I did wonder if this was to wash the underside of the tram, but as the tram approached the pumps stopped and the tram passed over with no ill effects. Electricity like oil does not move in the same social circles. The lower picture shows a railway coach.

Not New York, but Skien in June.

Mistress to a slave

You have to be of a certain age to make the association between this ferry and Frankie Howerd. But to those of us that fall into this demographic it is very strong. The ferry connected the Rjukan railway with the rest of the Norwegian railway system. A sister ship was sunk in 1944 to prevent heavy water being sent to Germany for use in the production of an atomic bomb.

The art of the ordinary

Just a local train at small station. Nothing special, but I like it.

Who had a Meccano set?

Skansen Bridge in Trondheim. These pictures are for anyone that had a Meccano set. A bascule railway bridge just outside of Trondheim station.

Picture found

This is the picture I was looking for when I rediscovered the old Kjelsas photos. It is of course the wrong variant for my purposes. But I thought I would post it anyway as these machines seem to be camera shy.
